Alisa was born and raised in Chicago. As a teen she made the move to L.A. and began her career in costumes. Alisa’s love of fashion soon got her noticed and she found herself working in both film and fashion, traveling all over the world, to such places as New York, Miami, London, Vancouver and Toronto. Alisa fell in love with Toronto and has been based here ever since. Her broad talents have made her a crossover artist, working in all areas of the industry styling for fashion editorials, TV commercials, music videos, advertising, and fashion shows. She has acted as costume designer for film and has designed and manufactured clothing lines.
She has contributed to publications such as Flare, Elle Canada, FQ, Strut, Highrise, Chatelaine, Teen Glow, Wallpaper, Hello, Ocean Drive, Marie Clare, Seventeen, Entertainment Weekly and People magazine.
She has styled advertising campaigns for Sony, Volvo, Revlon, Athletes World, Harry Rosen, Fairweather, Tip Top Tailors, Thrifty’s, Tic Tac, Bell Mobility, American Express, Danier Leather, Labatts, Molson, Guess? Jeans, Radio Shack, and The Bay.
She has styled celebrities including Nelly Furtado, BareNaked Ladies, Liv Tyler, Tom Hanks, Hayden Christensen, Gael Garcia Bernal, Rachel McAdams, Ron Sexsmith, Sam Roberts, and Three Days Grace.
