Siân's first memory of applying makeup was using the purples and greys in a little eyeshadow palette as soot to trick her brothers into thinking the basement was on fire.
It didn't work (note: mostly due to the lack of smoke, not her fabulous makeup) but Siân realized then that she was destined for an amazingly creative career. Over the years she dabbled in writing, graphic design, theatre, retail merchandising and music and soon found that the fashion and beauty industry truly resonated with her. (And her closet.)
Siân's work is known for it's strong use of colour and texture, ability to capture emotions ranging from soft and romantic to raw and powerful and dewy, glowing skin. She is also known for her super organized makeup kit, generous personality, infectious sense of humour and great smelling brushes. (No, really, you should smell them.)
Having living in England, Kansas and New York, she is happy to call Toronto her home. Her other favourite places are Newfoundland, Woodstock, New York and The Marble Slab Ice Creamery.
In her spare time, Siân enjoys shopping at thrift stores, ice cream, writing her own bio in the third person, baking, taking Polaroid pictures, learning how to use her Pentax camera, and playing with her cats, Wesley Snipes Esq and Boo Radley.
Siân's other aspirations include further delving into writing, photography, art direction and music video directing. She also plans on someday owning a black French Bulldog named Christian Bale.
